


ABOUT US
The Osborn Project is a small and inclusive three bed facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Currently, the Osborn project is dedicated to serving female residents, only.
Our program prides itself on providing a thoughtful and caring atmosphere for our residents. To that end we specialize in working with a wide range of individuals. This includes those with autism, down syndrome, bi-polar and dementia. Additionally, the Osborn Project specializes in supporting those with a high level of ADL (assistance with daily living) care needs.
The Osborn Project will continue to provide excellent services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families for years to come! To that end, The Osborn project prides itself in providing a rich environment for the clients. This includes providing a connection to the community including, concerts, dinners, beach trips and facilitation their choice in general. WE ARE THE OSBORN PROJECT!
Director
Denise Osborn is the Executive Director of The Osborn Project. Ms. Osborn holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and embarked upon her career shortly after graduating from college. This career has spanned over 40 years and involved/involves working in the field of Developmental Disabilities for most of those years. During her tenure in this field, Ms. Osborn has worked as a DSP, extensively!
Ms. Osborn also worked for Multnomah County for over 21 years. While there, she worked for The Developmental Disabilities Program as a case manager for two years. Afterwards, she became an APS investigator for the remainder of her tenure with the county.
Upon retiring form the county, Ms. Osborn opened a foster care facility for individuals with ID/DD and operated the facility for 6 years. Two years ago, Ms. Osborn converted her home to a 24- hour facility, and continues to serve the DD population, including those who have been dually diagnosed.
Ms. Osborn is strongly committed to improving and enhancing the lives of the individuals she serves! Ms. Osborn is also committed to providing a stable and consistent environment for her residents and their families!
Finally, Ms. Osborn’s goal is to continue having The Osborn Project thrive and continue in its efforts to provide one of the most supportive agencies for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities!
CLIENTS
The Osborn Project is a three-bedroom 24-hour facility for adult individuals with developmental disabilities. Specifically, The Osborn Project is presently working with women with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), including those with Autism and Down Syndrome. In addition, The Osborn Project provides services to those with dual diagnoses. The Osborn Project is dedicated to serving female clients only, at this time.
STAFF
The Osborn Project is comprised of a team of staff that are uniquely qualified in working with the Intellectual and Developmental disabled population. The Osborn Project staff work diligently to uphold our mission and provide quality care to clients. The Osborn Project team not only reflects years of experience but they also possess degrees in social work and related fields.
EMPLOYMENT
The Osborn Project is looking for staff that are committed to meeting the needs of clients and upholding the mission of The Osborn Project. The Osborn project provides competitive wages and necessary trainings. Per CDC guidelines all staff are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
